The SUNSUN CPF-20000 is a pressure filter designed for ponds, garden ponds, and fish tanks where it is essential to effectively maintain clean and clear water. The model is equipped with a 36 W UV-C lamp, which helps reduce the growth of algae responsible for green water. The unit supports a flow rate of up to 12,000 l/h, features connections for 1¼", 1½", and 2" hoses, and has a filter chamber capacity of 50 liters. The filter is suitable for fish ponds with a capacity of up to 20 m³ and for decorative ponds without fish with a capacity of up to 40 m³, providing effective mechanical, biological, and UV-C filtration.
Effective water purification thanks to multi-stage filtration
The CPF-20000 model uses a combination of mechanical and biological filtration, which effectively removes contaminants from the pond. The filter cartridges trap suspended particles, plant debris, and other fine contaminants floating in the water. At the same time, the filter creates the right conditions for the growth of beneficial bacteria, which support natural biological purification processes. This solution helps maintain a stable biological balance in the pond and improves living conditions for fish and aquatic plants.
The 36W UV-C lamp helps keep the water clear
The built-in 36W UV-C sterilizer supports the filtration system by reducing the amount of algae floating in the water. Ultraviolet radiation causes them to clump together into larger clusters, which are then trapped by the filter media. As a result, the water becomes clearer, and the problem of greening is reduced. The combination of the UV-C lamp with mechanical and biological filtration yields better results than when using individual purification methods.
Convenient operation and the ability to conceal the filter
The filter is equipped with a practical clogging indicator and a quick-clean system for the filter cartridges, which facilitates ongoing maintenance of the unit. The compact design allows the filter to be partially or completely concealed at the edge of the pond, ensuring it does not disrupt the garden’s appearance. The pressurized design allows treated water to be pumped to higher-elevation features such as streams or waterfalls.
