The heart of the AD-03's communication is the USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface in its modern and efficient 3.0 version. It provides an extremely stable and reliable connection between the enclosure and your desktop or laptop, guaranteeing smooth, uninterrupted operation.

Time is money, so the AK-873 guarantees lightning-fast data transfers. Transmission speeds reach up to 5 Gb/s (Gigabits per second – a unit of measurement for the amount of data transferred over time; in practice, this means being able to copy a high-quality movie in just a few to a dozen or so seconds). The enclosure fully utilizes the potential of the SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) interface – a standard connector and bus used to connect mass storage devices to a computer). The device supports the two most popular media formats (sizes) – 2.5” (inch) and 3.5” – in both key technologies:
- HDD (Hard Disk Drive – a traditional hard drive in which data is stored on rotating magnetic platters, offering an excellent capacity-to-price ratio),
- SSD (Solid State Drive – a modern, silent solid-state drive with no moving parts, characterized by maximum read and write speeds).
PORTABLE
Take your digital life wherever you go. Despite its enormous capabilities, the AK-87 model is fully portable. It maintains compact dimensions (18.3 x 11 x 2.8 cm – centimeters) and a lightweight weight of just 300 g (grams). The classic black color makes the device look great on any desk. The enclosure supports powerful drives with a maximum capacity of up to 16 TB (Terabytes – a unit of measurement for storage capacity, where 1 TB is approximately 1000 Gigabytes; this space is enough to store thousands of hours of video or millions of photos). To ensure stable and secure operation of even the most demanding and largest drives (especially those in the 3.5" format), a dedicated auxiliary power supply with parameters of 12 V⎓2 A (V – Volt, a unit of electrical voltage; A – Ampere, a unit of electrical current) is included.
