DEPOW Portable EV Charger
The DEPOW portable EV charger, with a power output of up to 22 kW, is equipped with a 10-meter cable and a Type 2 connector, providing flexibility when connecting the car to a power source. The device supports 1- and 3-phase charging in Mode 2 and allows current adjustment from 6 to 32 A. Users also have access to an LCD display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, app-based control, and a charging scheduling feature. The charger is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, and its control box has an IP66 rating.
Current Adjustment Tailored to the Electrical System
The ability to adjust the current allows users to tailor the charging process to the capabilities of their electrical system and their current needs. You can choose from 6 A, 10 A, 13 A, 16 A, 20 A, 24 A, and 32 A. This allows users to limit current draw when the electrical system does not allow for full use of the charger’s capabilities. The LCD display makes it easy to monitor key parameters and the device’s current operating status.
Control via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth App
The charger can connect to a mobile app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, making it easy to manage the charging process. From the app, you can remotely start and stop a charging session, monitor the device’s operation in real time, view the charging history, and set a schedule for specific times. The “RFID Toggle” feature, which in this model refers to digital authorization or session locking within the app, rather than a physical RFID card reader. This allows you to prevent unauthorized charging by configuring the feature appropriately in the app.
Safety Features for Daily Use
The DEPOW device is equipped with safety features that monitor, among other things, overload, overvoltage and undervoltage, leakage current, short circuits, grounding, and the temperature of the control box. The built-in RCD Type A 30 mA AC + 6 mA DC protection detects abnormalities related to both alternating current and direct current components. Temperature control further helps protect the device during extended charging sessions. LED indicators show power status, standby mode, charging in progress, and error conditions.
Designed for Various Conditions
The control box has an IP66 protection rating, and the Type 2 plug has an IP55 rating, which increases the kit’s resistance to dust and water exposure. The device can operate at temperatures ranging from -25°C to 50°C and at relative humidity levels from 5% to 95% RH without condensation. Power consumption in standby mode is less than 5 W, while total harmonic distortion (THD) does not exceed 5%.
